    Mwaniki Kariuki Mr. Kariuki is an accomplished litigator at the High Court and Court of Appeal levels and also practises in corporate and commercial matters. He is the founder of the firm and was previously working in the firm of Gichuki King’ara and company advocates where he was exposed to and practised and handled all manner of commercial work including acting for clients against banks and securing clients’ rights including obtaining injunctions in favour of clients. Mr. Kariuki was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 2nd October, 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Nairobi and a post graduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law.

    Caroline Thuo Ms. Thuo is an accomplished commercial lawyer having worked as a partner at the prestigious and oldest firm in Kenya, Hamilton Harrison & Mathews Advocates. At the said firm Ms. Thuo handled commercial and conveyancing work including; assisting in the setting up of the first fully fledged shar’ia compliant bank in Kenya, developing policies for the bank, preparing security and other lending documents and perfection of the same. Ms. Thuo also handled large portfolio conveyancing work including acting on behalf of a Chinese company in the purchase of a vast land for their headquarters, advising and acting on behalf of the client on the local laws relating to change of user of land, construction and development laws and the relevant consents required. Ms. Thuo also represented local embassies on commercial and conveyancing matters including advice on purchase of embassy properties, leases of residential properties for embassy staff and general country advise. Ms. Thuo also acted on behalf of local and international banks in the preparation and registration of securities and banking opinions.
    Ms. Thuo was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 18th September, 2008.
    She holders a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in International Trade and Investment Laws from the University of Nairobi, a post-graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi.

  • Sheila Chepkemoi Ms. Chepkemoi is an associate of the firm having joined the firm at the beginning of the year 2021. Before joining the firm, Ms. Chepkemoi worked as the Legal Officer for Kaygia Investments Limited and Sidian Bank where she gained immense wealth on banking, corporate, commercial and conveyancing law. Ms. Chepkemoi was admitted to the bar on 20th November, 2020 and holds a bachelor of laws degree from Kabarak University and a post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
